The Story of Plover Cove

Being the longest video I ever produced, The Story of Plover Cove is a documentary that comprehensively recorded the development of Plover Cove Reservoir in the past 40 years. My group hiked along the adjacent trails, visited the subsidiary dams, and traced the water source into the deep mountains of the Bride’s Pool. We even invited one of the indigenous, Mr. Lee Aw Wong, who was forced to move out during the construction of the reservoir, to tell us the destiny of those Hakka villages. This documentary tells the most truthful history of Plover Cove, and will be a part of the collective memory to all HongKongers who drink from the reservoir everyday.
