Young with Regret

03/2015-05/2015

This is a final project for the multimedia art class I took back in form three. Being the only visual art student in the group, I was quite enthusiastic in planning and visualising the whole music video. As a result, I became a multi-post member. Based on a story written by my group mates about how an old book brought regret to a man through a trip down memory lane to his best friends, and realise they lost contact with each others, I drew the story boards, directed, filmed and edited the video all by myself. For the song selection, I picked a cantonese song by Andy Hui (許志安), 前程錦繡, which direct translation meant ‘a bright future‘. The song is about how we grew into a society full of competitions, chaos, and that made us want to cling to our naive, innocent childhood, which is quite coherent with the plot itself.
